How to recharge a phone
- Sign in and open Buy Airtime.
- Choose the mobile network.
- Enter the amount and recipient phone number.
- Review the number carefully, then confirm payment.
- Check Transactions for the receipt and delivery status.
A successful recharge sent to the wrong valid number cannot normally be recovered.
Before you confirm
- Match the selected network to the phone number.
- Check all 11 digits of the recipient number.
- Confirm that your wallet balance covers the amount.
- Use the transaction reference if you need support.
If airtime is delayed
First check whether the transaction is pending, successful or failed. A successful status may still take a few minutes to reflect during a network delay.
- Wait a few minutes and check the airtime balance again.
- Restart the phone or briefly turn flight mode on and off.
- If it still does not arrive, contact support with the transaction reference.
